Weddings
Since no two brides are alike, so we have developed a completely custom
approach to our wedding line. We start with a consultation where the
bride and her supporters (fiancée, mom, friend, kids) come and discuss
the details of the event.
We make sure it is lots for fun for all
involved. Nothing stuffy or uptight at The Flower Bar.
We
find it helpful when our bride brings in some things that can help
inspire the discussion.
Those can range from a scarf (napkin /
invitation) to show a color scheme, pictures from magazines, dress
swatches or even just some photos of beautiful things.
Our
designers then start to offer ideas and show options that can truly fit
any budget. The next step is to send a quote for review. If all the
details are agreed to, we collect a 10% deposit to hold the date. About
two weeks before the wedding we send a sample arrangement to the brides
home. It is at this point that the contract balance is due. We make
any final adjustments then handle all the details on the day of the
event.
Our designers have intimate knowledge of the following
venues – The Larchmont Yacht Club, The Shore Club, Wave Hill, Orienta
Beach Club, The Horseshoe Club, Bonnie Briar Country Club and the New
York Athletic Club.
We choose not to book more than two events
per date so each of our brides gets the full attention to detail that

Parties
At The Flower Bar, we love a good party and we certainly love to help
make our clients parties the talk of the town. From themed bar and bat
mitzvahs’ to whimsical Harry Potter brunches, jellybean inspired Easter
parties, elegant garden engagement parties or corporate holiday parties
- we’ve done it all.
If
the party is at a site where we have prior experience, we simply start
with a phone or in-person consultation. If it is a location like a
home or office, we appreciate the opportunity for a quick site visit so
we can understand the layout and backdrop for the event.
If
you are looking for a venue for a party, The Flower Bar can accommodate
up to several dozen people100 in our studio. It is a terrific, value
conscious way to have a unique yet beautiful experience. We have
partnerships with the best local caterers to make your party
spectacular.

Home/Business Decorating
Recently added to our portfolio, is our in-home consultation and floral
decorating service. With our high quality line of silk and dried
flowers, our clients count on us to create decorating impact in their
homes or businesses.
We
often recommend a fall/winter approach and a spring/summer approach so
that your home or business feels seasonal and fresh all while enjoying
the value that our silk line provides. Our silks are so beautiful we
have clients in our studio every week that mistake them for fresh cut
stems.
